The Start Up Facility is necessary fot the right work with the Thunder while using power supplies other than the new generation of the PU 1 or PU2. For example the Critical or Eikon power supply.
With the support of the Start up Facility the Hawk runs with 4-5 Volts.
It is NOT necessary when you're already use the new generation of the PU1 or the PU2!
